Arranging one’s baggage needs to take into consideration the weight limit permitted by each airline. In general, 1 handbag will be allowed to carry on board (similarly called “Overnight”). Traveling to Europe and Asia, a baggage with up to 20 kilograms weight will be allowed for Economy Class, 30 kilograms for Business Class and 40 kilograms for First Class. On the other hand, 2 baggages will be allowed for those traveling to USA. Each for the maximum of approximately 32 kilograms. A little overweight might be accepted. However, in extreme cases, 1% fine rate of the First Class air fare will be enforced. So, in case of necessity, passengers are advised to send these over-weighted belongings in the form of “unaccompanied baggage” by making a request, as well as presenting one’s air ticket, at Cargo Department, at least 48 hours before traveling. By this, airfreight will be cheaper than usual while these belongings will arrive at the destination simultaneously.
Expected attires should be well prepared but not beyond what is needed. When necessary, same clothes may be used more than once. A standard dark color of clothes is recommended. If passengers wish to play sports, sport attires should be prepared. All other personal belongings should be prepared as considered necessary. A compact size of iron will be useful (for 220/110 volts). However, if bringing along electricity appliances, passengers need to consider the type of voltage used locally. If the voltage type does not match; without a converter, these electricity appliances cannot be used, esp. computers and notebooks that are energy-consumed. They will be used for a while from battery energy and after then being left as a burden until more energy can be sought.
